Year 7 Camp

Year 7 enjoyed their time in Wombaroo canoeing, abseiling, bushwalking, and much more!

Here are some recounts from 2 of our girls in year 7.

Elsa:

Year 7 camp overall was an awesome experience. There were lots of activities such as low ropes, abseiling, initiatives, canoeing and hiking along with others. It was 4 days and three nights; two of those three nights being spent in tents and the other being spent in a cabin. Personally, some of my favourite memories were sitting around the campfire every night, the big barbecue where all of the houses got together for an evening and the abseiling. I think that over the camp our whole form got closer. Some of the not so favourable bits of the camp was, unsurprisingly, the hiking. Overall, camp was an awesome experience.

Georgie:

To me camp was really exiting with lots of fun activities planned during the days. Sleeping the first night was hard as to no shock I was sleeping on a rock. The hiking was loads of fun as we played games whilst walking such as celebrity heads and eye spy. The barbecue on the second night was great with all of the girls forms getting together and spending the afternoon together. Our camp leader was great and everybody misses her and I’m sure it’s the same for the other forms too. Overall camp was a really enjoyable experience and I had a great time.
