Respect and Care is one of Pittwater House’s core HEROIC values, and giving back to charity is a really important part of growing our empathy towards others.

This term, our prefects held a pride-themed mufti day to donate profits to the charity StreetWork which is a program that attempts to work with at-risk youth to break the cycle of destructive behaviours. Each child is specially matched with a mentor who guides them through a program designed to help them get through tough times, with a success rate for turning a life around at over 85%.
By donating a gold coin, our senior school raised over $650 , which has really made a difference.
The mufti day was a great way to show our school communities pride and acceptance, all while making a difference to the lives of others.
