1. What is your favourite activity to do in your free time?
My favourite activity is basketball, though I’m not very good at it. I play with a bunch of my friends on Fridays and then with my little brother Tom and my dad on weekends and other weekdays. It’s really important to me to exercise in fun ways and socialise with people from other schools.
2. Why did you decide to be a leader?
I decided to be a leader because I wanted to give back to the Pittwater House community, and through leadership I have been given many opportunities to give back to both Pittwater house and the northern beaches community. I have always looked up to my older sisters and each of them were a leader at Pittwater house, and I saw how much fun they had and the connections they made with people in the community and decided I wanted to follow in their footsteps.
3. Do you have any exciting ideas for the athletics carnival?
Joseph and I have many ideas for the athletics carnival, and we are both looking forward to making it the best one yet. Butterworth may not win everything but we certainly bring the vibe.
4. Any House Cup plans?
Me and the other house captains have heaps of plans for house cup, we will be following the years before us and having games between each year's houses. House cup will be starting in the following weeks so get excited.
5. What is your favourite part of being a leader?
I have loved the opportunity to be a leader as I have been able to contribute to the community in a different way than I have in previous years. I have been able to voice any ideas I have and any concerns. I love working with the prefect team as I believe they are all so smart and have so many ideas that will make Pittwater house better.
6. If you could change one thing in the school, what would it be?
I don’t think I would change anything. I am extremely privileged to attend a school like Pittwater House and believe that it gives me so many opportunities for both my future and for now. I am extremely grateful and believe that the school is great in every aspect.
7. Do you have a favourite house chant? If so, what would it be?
My favourite house chant would be the one where everyone screams ‘butter, butter, butter’ for like two minutes before yelling Butterworth. Unfortunately, due to covid I haven't been able to do this chant for over 3 years, so I will be bringing it back in house games and the athletics carnival.
8. What is your favourite food? Why?
My favourite food is watermelon - I love the way it tastes, and it is so refreshing in our hot summers, I also love the colour of it.
9. What is your favourite artist? (music, film, art)
My favourite artist is Taylor swift, my favourite movie is High School musical.
10. What is your favourite aspect of our school?
The community at our school is really special. Through activities such as CUP run by Miki, I have been able to make so many great connections with the younger years and hope to make more through the house captain’s and I's plans for house Cup.
11. What is your favourite subject in school?
My favourite subject in school is legal studies. I have the best teacher who has always made each lesson so much fun. The topics we learn about can be difficult but they are extremely interesting and provide me a greater understanding of how justice can be achieved for all.
