On Friday the 3rd of June, a college movie night was held in the great hall for year 7 and 8 students. All 72 girls enjoyed Legally Blonde as well as 10 Things I Hate About You.
This is the second time this event was run. The movie night was based on the passion project of past year 10 students Kat, Liv, Mel and Sammie in hope of uniting the junior years.
It was wonderful to see the girls in their comfy clothes, with a field of oodies, blankets and pillows as well as snacks.
The whole night was a total success filled with heaps of smiles, laughs, memories and new friendships.
Huge thanks to the teachers who volunteered, as well as the year 11 and 12 girls who helped out at the event.
We all ended up practising the bend and snap as well as falling in love with Heath Ledger.
Can’t wait for next year :)
